1. Project Overview

This project is a flagship industrial wastewater reuse initiative of SOPO Group, located in Zhenjiang Chemical Industrial Park, Jiangsu Province. With a treatment capacity of 3,000 m³/day, it processes production wastewater for recycling and reuse. The project supports Yangtze River conservation efforts and advances corporate water-saving and emission-reduction goals.

2. Core Project Details

Employs “Ultrafiltration + Reverse Osmosis” dual-membrane advanced treatment to efficiently remove suspended solids, salts, and organic matter.

Treated effluent meets the Reuse of Urban Recycling Water—Water Quality Standard for Urban Miscellaneous Use (GB/T 18920-2002).

Integrated automation enables online membrane cleaning and intelligent adjustment of operating parameters.

Closed-loop wastewater recycling significantly reduces freshwater consumption and enhances overall water resource efficiency.

3. Project Honors & Recognition

Selected as Zhenjiang Municipal Industrial Water-Saving Demonstration Project.

Dual-membrane reuse technology certified by Jiangsu Provincial Chemical Industry Environmental Protection Promotion Program.

Contributed to SOPO Group’s recognition as a “Green Factory” and “Advanced Unit for Air Pollution Prevention and Emission Reduction.”

Achieved industry-leading water recovery rates and received special commendation under the Yangtze River Economic Belt Environmental Protection Initiative.
