From Raw Water to Potable Water

Treatment processes are selected according to raw-water characteristics and required treated-water quality. The final process configuration is project-specific.

1

Raw Water Intake

Pumping & screening

2

Pretreatment

Clarification as needed

3

Filtration

Suspended solids removal

4

UF / RO — When Required

Membrane treatment for specific water-quality requirements

5

Disinfection / Final Conditioning

Microbiological control & final conditioning

6

Potable Water Storage

Storage before distribution

7

Distribution

Supply to points of use

Engineering note: The actual process configuration is determined by raw-water quality and required drinking-water standards. Not every project requires UF or RO.

Typical Configuration Examples

Relatively Clean Groundwater

Filtration → Disinfection

Possible application: groundwater with relatively stable quality where advanced dissolved-solids removal is not required.

Variable Surface Water

Coagulation / Clarification → Filtration → Optional UF → Disinfection

Possible application: surface-water projects requiring enhanced turbidity, suspended-solids and microbiological control.

Elevated TDS or Dissolved Contaminants

Pretreatment → UF / Cartridge Filtration → RO → Disinfection / Final Conditioning

Possible application: projects requiring reduction of TDS or specific dissolved contaminants.

Illustrative configurations only. Final process selection requires review of raw-water analysis and applicable potable-water requirements.

Engineered for Modular Project Delivery

The treatment process is engineered into a modular system configuration according to capacity, site conditions, transportation constraints, installation requirements and operating philosophy.

01

Factory-Assembled

Major treatment equipment, piping, instrumentation and controls can be integrated and tested before delivery according to project scope. View manufacturing capability →

02

Containerized or Skid-Mounted

Configuration is selected according to capacity, treatment process, transportation constraints and site conditions.

03

Reduced On-Site Assembly

Factory integration can reduce on-site assembly requirements and simplify interfaces between treatment modules, utilities and site infrastructure.

04

Scalable & Redundant Configuration

Multiple treatment modules can be configured for phased capacity expansion or project-specific redundancy requirements.

05

PLC-Based Automation

PLC-based control, process instrumentation, alarms and optional remote monitoring can be integrated according to project requirements and operating philosophy.

06

Project-Specific Delivery Engineering

Module dimensions, transportation constraints, installation interfaces, documentation and commissioning requirements can be considered during system engineering according to project-specific delivery requirements.
